About the estate
The Glatt estate in Leobendorf in the Weinviertel region was founded in 1981 by Josef Glatt when he planted a first vineyard with Grüner Veltliner. Today, the family-run winery cultivates 4.9 hectares of vines and produces wines such as Weinviertel DAC. In 2019, a new wine hall equipped with modern cellar technology and a wine shop was put into operation. The business is managed by the Glatt family, with winemaking rooted in long-standing tradition and continuous expansion of the portfolio. The wines are distributed directly from the winery as well as online.
