About the estate
The family-run Gattinger estate is located in Weißenkirchen in the Wachau and cultivates 4.5 hectares of vineyards. About 80 percent of the historic stone terraces are situated on the mountain and are tended through consistent manual labor. The winery produces elegant white wines as well as rosé and red wines, including the Vinea Wachau classifications Steinfeder, Federspiel, and Smaragd. Founded by Adolf and Krimhilde Gattinger, the family business continues the traditional craft in both the vineyard and the cellar. Distribution takes place through selected retailers, gastronomy partners, and directly at the winery.
