About the estate
The Garlider estate is located in Feldthurns in the Eisacktal and is run by Christian Kerschbaumer together with his family. Covering a cultivated area of 4 hectares, they grow five white grape varieties and one red grape variety, which includes the only Pinot Noir in the South Tyrolean Eisack Valley. The winery has converted its cultivation to organic farming and predominantly uses indigenous yeasts in the cellar. The philosophy of the estate aims to preserve the characteristics of the vine and the soil in the wine.
