About the estate

The Fürnkranz estate in Mailberg looks back on a family tradition documented since 1794 and converted from mixed agriculture to a pure winegrowing operation decades ago. Today, the winery cultivates more than 10 hectares of vineyards with a wide variety of grape cultivars, including Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Zweigelt. The production combines knowledge passed down through generations with modern technology and relies on manual grape harvesting. Depending on the grape variety, the wines are aged either through traditional red wine fermentation in oak casks or in stainless steel tanks. The estate supplies both private customers and the gastronomy sector in Austria and Germany.
