About the estate
The Florio estate was founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio in Marsala on the western coast of Sicily. Within historic tuff stone buildings, the wines of the Marsala DOC appellation age in oak casks. The winery looks back on a traditional history and significantly shaped the economic development of the region. Today, the estate represents the artisanal production of traditional fortified wines through the careful handling of time and space.
