About the estate
The Fev estate manages 300 hectares of vineyards featuring very old bush-trained Tempranillo vines on poor soils in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha. The winemaking approach is based on years of research into the various plots and grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional under the region's extreme conditions. Following carefully timed harvesting and strict sorting in the winery, fermentations and aging take place in stainless steel tanks as well as in American and French oak barrels. These efforts yield unique regional wines such as the Venta La Ossa product line.
