About the estate

The history of the Fattorie Azzolino estate dates back to the early 20th century, when the Sacco family established the agricultural business in Contrada Azzolino within the territory of Monreale. Today, the enterprise is managed by the Gambino and Rizzuto families, who have oriented it toward modern and sustainable production. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 400 meters and benefit from significant thermal excursions. Both regional and international grape varieties such as Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Grillo are cultivated using strictly organic methods. The winery produces both red and white wines, which are marketed under designations including Monreale DOC and Sicilia DOC.
