About the estate
The Fattoria Nicodemi estate in Notaresco in the Abruzzo region is rooted in a family history initiated by Bruno Nicodemi in the 1970s and is currently managed by the siblings Elena and Alessandro. The winery exclusively processes grapes from its own vineyards, focusing on the native varieties Montepulciano and Trebbiano. Around 200,000 bottles are produced annually for designations including Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC. The entire operation is certified organic and powered by solar energy in the cellar. Export markets account for eighty percent of the total production.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Montepulciano and Trebbiano. The estate sells to importers and distributors.
