About the estate

The Cantina San Lorenzo cultivates 150 hectares of vineyards on the hills of the Teramo area in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The history of the family-run estate dates back to 1890, when the ancestors planted the first vines in the area. Today, the winery is managed in the fifth generation, combining traditional methods with modern techniques such as temperature control and the use of natural yeasts. The geographical location between the Gran Sasso massif and the Adriatic Sea provides ideal climatic conditions for cultivating both native and international grape varieties.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Montepulciano and Pecorino. The estate sells to retail.
