About the estate

The Fattoria La Valentina estate was founded in 1990 in Spoltore in the hills near Pescara in Abruzzo, and has been managed by the brothers Sabatino, Roberto, and Andrea Di Properzio since 1994. The winery focuses on sustainable, nature-driven viticulture aimed at producing authentic wines that reflect their unique territory. The vineyards are managed either organically or traditionally with a reduced use of chemical products and the exclusion of herbicides. Vineyard practices include massal selection, the cultivation of native grape varieties, and manual harvesting of fully ripe, healthy grapes.
