About the estate
The Estandon winery in Flassans-sur-Issole in Provence looks back on a history that began in 1947 when Jean Bagnis first bottled wine in glass bottles. Today, this cooperative unites around 300 winegrowers whose vineyards thrive on predominantly limestone as well as clay and limestone soils. The region is shaped by the Mediterranean sun and the Mistral wind, creating ideal conditions for grape varieties such as Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, and Rolle. The estate's wines are particularly appreciated for their rosé wines and are now represented in more than 50 countries worldwide.
