About the estate

The Eschberger winery is a small wine estate located in Bad Pirawarth in the Weinviertel region. The origin of the estate lies in a small agricultural business with pig farming and dairy cows, which was gradually transformed into a winery with a traditional wine tavern by Elfriede and Josef Eschberger. Today, the estate is managed by the next generation, Ing. Christine and Ing. Martin Eschberger. Martin Eschberger is a graduate and teacher at the Federal College and Institute for Viticulture and Pomology, focusing on consistent manual work in the vineyards and the cellar. The cultivated vineyard area covers 4.5 hectares, producing wines including the Weinviertel DAC denomination.
