The Eremita winery is located in Eltville am Rhein-Rauenthal in the Rheingau. The vineyards on the Bubenhäuser Höhe feature a southern exposure and a unique geological subsoil containing fossils from a former subtropical sea. Historically, the Rauenthal vineyard sites on the Bubenhäuser Höhe are closely linked to the region's pursuit of quality. Host Beatrix R. Becker manages the concept, which combines winemaking with gastronomy, art, and music. The name is derived from the Latin word for a hermit as well as the patron saint of the parish church in Rauenthal.
