About the estate
The Echter. Wein GbR estate is located in the picturesque village of Asselheim along the German Wine Route in the Palatinate region and is managed in the fourth generation by certified winemaker Miro Echter. Across twenty hectares of vineyards, the family-run business cultivates a diverse selection of traditional grape varieties such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Dornfelder, alongside fungus-resistant Piwi varieties. During their work in the vineyards and the cellar, the winemakers rely on sustainable cultivation methods, traditional pruning, and extensive manual labor to craft quality-oriented wines. This combination of proven traditions and innovation results in a distinctive range of wines.
