About the estate

The Don Balbino, S.L. winery manages a 40-hectare vineyard in Lapuebla de Labarca and Laguardia in the heart of the Rioja DOCa. The family has owned vineyards here since the late 18th century, and the estate itself was founded in 1924. Today, the fourth generation runs the operation with a new project. While preserving the tradition of carbonic maceration for young wines, they also introduce new concepts such as barrel-fermented white wines and single-estate wines.
