About the estate
The family-run Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau estate is located in Chançay in the Loire Valley and looks back on a generations-long history. Today, the winery cultivates 33 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Vouvray and AOC Touraine denominations. The vines grow on clay-limestone and flint soils along the south-facing slopes overlooking the Loire River. For many years, the estate has practiced biodynamic agriculture to maintain the natural balance of the soil and the vines. This work includes the historic Clos de Rougemont parcel, situated within a UNESCO World Heritage site and partially maintained using draft horses.
