About the estate
The Domaine Sylvain Bailly estate is a historic family-run winery located in Bué at the heart of the Sancerre region, with a winemaking heritage dating back to the eighteenth century. In 1995, the estate expanded its vineyard holdings to include the Quincy appellation. The portfolio features a complete range of white, red, and rosé wines from the Central Loire valley, predominantly centered around the Sauvignon grape variety. Viticultural practices focus on sustainable methods with partial or complete cover cropping across the parcels. Vinification involves pneumatic pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation, and aging on fine lees.
