About the estate
The Domaine les Chais Letourneau estate located in Burgy in southern Burgundy looks back on a history dating back to 1902 and is managed today in the fourth generation. Cultivating 8.7 hectares of vineyards with clay-limestone soils across Burgy, Lugny, Montbellet, and Viré, the estate grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gamay. The winery specializes in the production of Crémant de Bourgogne and AOC white wines, and is recognized as a pioneer for sparkling wines in the Mâconnais region. Viticulture follows sustainable farming practices under HVE certification. In the cellar, the wines are aged in a combination of wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks.
