About the estate
The Domaine Gerald Besse SA estate was founded in 1979 when Gérald Besse acquired his first plot in Martigny-Croix in the Valais. Patricia joined him in 1981, and together they vinified their first vintage in 1984. Today, the second generation is represented by their daughter Sarah, continuing a family tradition focused on steep terraced vineyards and the preservation of dry-stone walls. The entire vineyard is cultivated according to organic standards and has been certified since 2022. The vines thrive on sunny slopes with diverse soils, yielding distinctive wines under the AOC Valais denomination.
