About the estate

The Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair estate has its roots in Vosne-Romanée, where the family established itself in 1815. The vineyards are located primarily along the Côte de Nuits, covering renowned sites throughout Burgundy. Since 2008, the estate has farmed its entire vineyard area using biodynamic practices, certified by Ecocert under the Biodyvin label. To protect sensitive soils from compaction, the property incorporates horse-drawn plowing for part of its vineyards. Avoiding chemical weed killers and fostering microbial life in the soil allows the character of the terroir to express itself fully.
