About the estate
Established in 1820, the Domaine des Souterrains estate is located in the Cher valley within the Loire wine region and currently covers 23 hectares of vineyards. In 2011, the property was taken over by Nicolas Mazzesi and his wife Katherine Wu, who have since worked to elevate the quality of the wines from the vineyard to vinification and aging. Viticulture is conducted under the Terra Vitis label along with HVE 3 certification to produce expressive and elegant wines that reflect their terroir. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Crémant de Loire, AOC Touraine, and AOC Touraine Chenonceaux appellations.
