About the estate

The Domaine des Poupees estate was established in 2025 by winemaker Clément Poupée, taking over the vineyards and buildings historically belonging to Domaine Matignon. Located in the heart of the Anjou wine region in Martigné-Briand, the property covers 37 hectares of vineyards. The vines are cultivated using reasoned methods with a strong focus on mechanical soil management. All wines are fully vinified and bottled directly at the estate. The portfolio features recognized regional appellations such as Coteaux du Layon, Anjou Blanc, Anjou Rouge, Anjou Villages, and Cabernet d'Anjou.
