About the estate

The Domaine des Lauriers - Laurent Kraft winery is a traditional family estate in Vouvray in the Loire Valley that has existed for seven generations. The vineyards cover 24 hectares in the center of the wine-growing region in Indre-et-Loire. Tuffeau in the subsoil provides the foundation for producing wines with character. Only Chenin Blanc is cultivated, yielding dry, semi-dry, sweet and mellow still wines as well as sparkling wines under the AOC Vouvray. Cultivation is carried out traditionally and artisanally, complemented by both mechanical and manual harvesting methods.
