Domaine des Galuches

About the estate

The Domaine des Galuches estate was established in 1995 on the family property in Savigny-en-Véron. The vineyards are located in the Chinon appellation at the confluence of the Loire and Vienne rivers, where Cabernet Franc thrives on sandy and gravelly soils. The soil has been mechanically cultivated and treated with approved organic methods for several years to preserve the environment. Harvesting is done entirely by hand to ensure high grape quality. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats, while select wines undergo maturation in oak barrels or a traditional wooden conical tank.
