About the estate
The Domaine des Fonds estate was founded in 2010 and is managed by Florent Berrod, a fourth-generation winemaker in the family. Red wines account for the majority of production and are made from Gamay, while Chardonnay and Viognier are used for the white wines. The traditional vinifications rely on both classic methods and modern equipment to ensure quality. The portfolio includes typical wines from the Beaujolais such as Fleurie and Moulin à Vent as well as more atypical bottlings like Viognier.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Gamay and Chardonnay. Export markets include Belgium.
