About the estate
The Domaine des Afforêts estate was founded in the late 1950s by Georges and Noëlle Favre in Aigle within the Swiss canton of Vaud. Today, the family-run estate cultivates around sixteen hectares of vineyards located on steep slopes within the AOC Chablais and AOC Vaud denominations. These steep hillside plots require manual labor, an approach often referred to as heroic viticulture. All vinified grapes come exclusively from the estate's own vineyards, with vineyard management following integrated production practices. The wines are aged in the estate's own cellar and are distributed directly at the winery as well as through selected restaurant partners.
