About the estate
The Domaine Depardon Pere et Fils estate cultivates vineyards covering approximately twelve hectares in Juliénas within the Burgundy-Beaujolais region. Managed by the family for several generations, the farm was taken over by Maryse and Jean-Paul Depardon in 1967 and subsequently joined by their son Alexandre in 2004. The vines grow on clay-granite soils and consist primarily of the Gamay noir à jus blanc grape variety. The product range of the sustainably operating winery includes the AOC Juliénas, AOC Chénas, and AOC Beaujolais-Villages designations. In addition to the domestic market, the domain now also supplies international markets.
