Domaine de Malavieille - Mas de Bertrand

About the estate

The Domaine de Malavieille - Mas de Bertrand estate is located in the south of France and cultivates 30 hectares of vineyards on basalt soils and limestone terraces. The history of the property dates back to the French Revolution, after which the abandoned vineyards were successively restored by ancestors and descendants of the current owner, Mireille Bertrand Lacas. Twenty grape varieties grow on the estate, yielding wines for designations including AOC Terrasses du Larzac, Montpeyroux, Saint-Saturnin, and IGP Pays d'Oc. The winery has farmed in accordance with organic agriculture and biodynamic standards since the year 2000.
