About the estate
The Domaine de Lauzières estate was founded in the 16th century and is located in the heart of the Alpilles. In 1992, Gérard Pillon and a partner acquired the property, before his son Christophe Pillon took over the management in 2011. The estate cultivates its vineyards according to organic and biodynamic principles, which led to Demeter certification in 2015. Harvesting is done entirely by hand at night, followed by traditional yet innovative winemaking utilizing indigenous yeasts. The wines are subsequently aged on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks or amphorae.
