About the estate
The Domaine de la Grange estate is located in Mouzillon in the Loire Valley near Nantes, positioned above the banks of the Sanguèze. Run by Béatrice and Dominique Hardy, the property covers 38 hectares of vineyards with vines averaging twenty years of age. The soils consist of clay-silica and gabbro, supporting an encépagement of 85 percent Melon de Bourgogne alongside Folle Blanche, Gamay, Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Vinification takes place in stainless steel and underground glass-tiled vats, with bottling beginning in April following the harvest.
