About the estate
The Domaine de Briante estate is located in Saint Lager on the eastern foothills of Mount Brouilly and has been managed by oenologist and winemaker Lauren Faupin since 2011. The 14 hectares of vineyards are distributed across the Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais, and Beaujolais-Blanc appellations. Cultivation follows sustainable farming methods with manual harvesting, complete elimination of chemical weedkillers, and resumed soil management. In the cellar, indigenous yeasts are utilized to produce terroir-driven wines from grape varieties such as Gamay and Chardonnay.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Gamay and Chardonnay.
