About the estate

The Domaine Christian Thirot Fournier is a family-run estate in the Sancerre region that was established in 1984. It originated from a small parcel of vines left by parents and grandparents and has since grown to manage a total of ten hectares of vineyards. Of this area, seven hectares are dedicated to white wines, while three hectares produce red and rosé wines under the AOC Sancerre denomination. The vineyards are situated on south and south-west-facing slopes across Bué, Crézancy and Sancerre, featuring calcareous-clay soils with a high proportion of chalk. The estate applies integrated viticultural methods with covered or hoed soils, and a significant share of the production is exported internationally.
