About the estate
The Domaine Besson estate covers a vineyard area of seven hectares in Juliénas within the Beaujolais region near the border with Burgundy. The granitic soils of the hillside plots provide ideal conditions for cultivating Gamay noir à jus blanc to produce fruity and well-structured wines. The entire harvest is hand-picked, and all winemaking steps take place directly on the property. Agroecology and the regeneration of soil fertility form the core of the sustainable farming practices. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Beaujolais-Villages, AOC Chénas, and AOC Juliénas denominations.
