Domaine Bastide du Plan

About the estate

The Domaine Bastide du Plan estate is located in the Var department in the heart of Provence and is managed by the Just family. The history of the property began after the Second World War when Vincent and Louis Barbero acquired the estate with a total area of 25 hectares. After initially cultivating table grapes, the descendants shifted the focus to viticulture and planted grape varieties such as Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle, and Mourvèdre. In the nineties, Jan-Michel Just took over management in the fourth generation and progressively improved the vineyards and overall quality. Following the construction of a dedicated winery, the estate carried out its first historic vinification in 2008 under the AOC Côtes de Provence designation.
