Domaine Ameztia

About the estate

The Domaine Ameztia estate is located in Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry within a 17th-century historic farmhouse. In 2001, the founder vinified his first vintage under the AOC Irouléguy denomination before passing the operations on to the next generation. Today, the family cultivates eight hectares of vineyards spread across three distinct parcels. All vineyard work, from pruning to harvesting, is performed entirely by hand. In the cellar, winemaking relies on careful processing and maturation in wooden casks and stainless steel tanks.
