About the estate
The Diewald winery cultivates vineyards on deep loess and loess-loam soils in the southwestern Weinviertel. The focus of the family-owned estate is on white wine varieties, led by the regional flagship grape Grüner Veltliner. A large part of the vineyards is located in the immediate vicinity of the estate, primarily in the Ebenberg single vineyard. Short distances between the vineyard and the cellar allow for gentle processing of the grapes. Utilizing modern cellar technology and long-standing experience, the estate produces characterful, elegant quality wines shaped by their origin.
