About the estate
The Derbusco Cives winery, located in Erbusco in Lombardy, was founded in 2004 and specializes in the production of Franciacorta DOCG. Spanning 12.5 hectares of vineyards on the morainic hills, the estate cultivates grapes utilizing exclusively free-run must from the first pressing. The production methodology completely avoids the addition of exogenous sugars, while the wines undergo extended aging on the lees ranging from a minimum of 30 months up to 120 months. The portfolio consists of nine distinct wines, including the Brut Doppio Erre Di and the Decem Annis reserve.
