About the estate

The Crama Sarba - Odobesti estate is situated on the hills of the Subcarpathian Arch and manages 157 hectares of vineyards. Founded in 2002, the company continues the historical winemaking tradition of the region, which dates back to the seventeenth century. The vineyards benefit from a favorable east and southeast exposure alongside balanced soil and climatic conditions. Cultivated grape varieties include regional specialties such as Galbenă de Odobești and Șarba, as well as international varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines mature in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels within a completely restored eighteenth-century cellar.
