About the estate

The Via Huși estate continues a winemaking tradition spanning over 600 years in the historic region of Moldova in Romania, with documentary evidence dating back to 1415. In 2020, the traditional wine-producing facility was revitalized and transformed into a modern winery following a four-year modernization process. The vineyards are situated on the gentle hills surrounding Huși, benefiting from diverse soils and a favorable climate with optimal southern exposure. The grape variety portfolio includes indigenous varieties such as Busuioacă de Bohotin, Fetească Regală, and Fetească Neagră alongside international classics like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. A primary focus of the winery is the production of high-quality sparkling wines using both classical and Charmat methods.
