About the estate

The Coop. El Torreón estate was established as a cooperative in Arenas de San Juan in September 1981 and operates within the La Mancha DO region. The vineyards are distributed across two distinct zones characterized by calcareous and sandy soils as well as different irrigation sources. Initially focused on the Airén and Tempranillo varieties, the portfolio today also includes Macabeo, Chardonnay, and Garnacha. The production ranges from young white and red wines to Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva qualities, alongside packaging in bag-in-box formats. Over the years, the facilities have been continuously modernized and expanded to include oak barrel ageing and bottling systems.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Tempranillo and Airén.
