About the estate

The history of the Colline della Stella di Andrea Arici estate began in the late nineteen-nineties in Gussago on the northern border of the Franciacorta DOCG denomination. Together with his father Francesco, Andrea Arici recovered abandoned terraced vineyards and released their first wines in 2002. Pinot noir and Chardonnay are cultivated on the well-draining active limestone soils. The winery has made the uncompromising choice to produce exclusively zero-dosage Franciacorta in order to authentically express the mineral character of the terroir. Today, the estate produces around 60,000 bottles per year.
