The Cillar de Silos, S.L. winery located in Quintana del Pidio in Castilla y León has its origins in 1970 and was founded in 1994 by Amalio Aragón together with his children. The estate manages a vineyard area of over 150 hectares within the Ribera del Duero DO denomination, consisting of numerous parcels with some vines exceeding 100 years of age. Cultivation focuses on the indigenous grape varieties Tempranillo, Tinto Fino, and Albillo Mayor. The historical heritage of the property includes an underground cellar dating from the late 16th century used for wine aging. The company exports 40 percent of its total production to international markets.
