Located in Winchester, Hampshire, the Chilcomb Valley Wines estate is a family-run operation specialising in artisanal sparkling wines. The vines are grown on the Hampshire chalk downs, which share the same substrate as the vineyards of Champagne. The estate focuses on fully ripe grapes and produces less than 3000 bottles of each wine per year. The product range includes various vintages of the Classic Cuvée and the Rosé Brut. The aim of the house is to maximise the potential of the fruit from each vintage.

This new release is made from grapes from the excellent and hot 2022 vintage. Made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, secondary fermentation in bottle followed by 32 months gaining complexity on lees.

Pale salmon in colour with an abundance of fine bubbles, the wine has notes of strawberry, some blood orange, summer citrus freshness with a little creamy nougat on the nose.
