About the estate
The Château Tour Prignac looks back on a history of over four centuries in the northern Médoc and is currently owned by the Castel family. The 144-hectare contiguous vineyard extends over complex clay and limestone soils with a high planting density. Management is certified sustainable, featuring mechanical soil cultivation and the avoidance of chemical weedkillers. The estate is exclusively dedicated to red grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are aged in French oak barrels following precise vinification in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks.
