About the estate
The Château La Gorce estate was founded in the Médoc in 1822 and was recognized as a Cru Bourgeois in the 1932 classification. In 2018, Emmanuel and Mana Martin took over the property, which spans 48 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Médoc denomination. They immediately initiated the conversion to organic farming, which has been fully completed across all cuvées since the 2022 vintage. Their approach combines historical winemaking traditions with adaptations to future ecological and climatic challenges. The management relies on mechanical soil maintenance, cover cropping, and contemporary developments in product design.
