About the estate
The Château La Genestière estate was founded in 1930 on the site of a former silkworm farm. The property spans 200 hectares of vineyards across renowned appellations such as AOC Côtes du Rhône, AOC Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape DOCG, Laudun, and Tavel. The history of the location dates back to the 16th century when it served as a magnanerie. Jean-Claude and Raphaël Garcin acquired the estate in 1994, and Christian Latouche subsequently purchased it in 2015. Grape varieties such as Grenache and Syrah shape the character of the wines produced at the estate.
