About the estate
Exising since 1245, Château la Bâtie looks back on a long history and is managed today by six generations of women in direct line. The ten hectares of vineyards are spread across nine hillside parcels with morainic soil in Vinzel in the canton of Vaud. The winemaker cultivates the vineyards with a focus on promoting natural biodiversity, while the vinification is carried out in cooperation with Cave de La Côte. The appellations AOC La Côte, AOC Vaud, and Vinzel shape the origin of the wines, with Chasselas standing at the center.
