About the estate
The Château Gairoird estate is centered around a bastide built in 1734 and is managed by Olivier Deydier de Pierrefeu representing the third generation of his family after they settled there in 1824. The 45-hectare vineyard spans across the communes of Pierrefeu, Puget-Ville and Cuers within the AOC Côtes de Provence denomination. The terroir features soils composed of red clay mixed with limestone pebbles, while the Mistral wind protects the vineyards. Farming has been conducted organically since 2005 without the use of chemical fertilizers, weed killers or pesticides.
The eno directory lists 6 wines.
