Chateau Fourcas Dupre

About the estate

The Chateau Fourcas Dupre estate is located in the Médoc on the Fourcas plateau, which sits at an altitude of 42 meters and is known as the roof of the Médoc. Vines were already present at this location in the early 13th century, before the property took the name Fourcas Dupré in 1843 when acquired by Maître Jean Antoine Dupré. Following ownership by the Pagès family starting in 1970, the property was purchased by the Breton entrepreneur Gérard Jicquel in 2019. The winery cultivates 47.2 hectares of vineyards within the Listrac-Médoc appellation and works towards the highest level of environmental certification.
