About the estate

The Château Fontesteau estate is located in the Médoc region north of Bordeaux within the AOC Haut-Médoc denomination. Spanning 100 hectares of vineyards, the property produces red wines with significant aging potential through organic farming and sustainable practices. The winery is certified by ECOCERT, participates in the environmental management system for Bordeaux wines, and is a member of the independent vignerons syndicate. All stages from harvesting to bottling are conducted on-site at the historic property, which dates back to Gallo-Roman times. The vineyards are situated in a preserved natural environment surrounded by forests and water features with a rich biodiversity.
